Agile QA?

This whole concept is not without controvsery inside Atlassian, and I'd love some input from anyone interested. Has anyone seen a QA team and a agile development team work well together? How was it set up? How did it play out? What do you think of Sherali's plan?

It only works if the QA people are as committed to making the software better as much as the developers. If they aren’t, you just end up with a group of people who are disinterested in their job, poor results and irate developers.
the key is surely to drive hardcore testing- unit, regression and so on – into the development process. as you guys already know agile doesn’t mean no testing. on the contrary. you’re having quality problems?
